Comparison review

The Sony Xperia Tablet Z is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, with a 68.5 score against 66.3. Sony Xperia Tablet Z is a newer tablet device, and it's also much thinner and lighter than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. Both tablets we are comparing here have Android operating system, but the Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a more recent 4.4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has Android 4.4.

The Sony Xperia Tablet Z has a bit better processing power than Galaxy Note 10.1, and although they both have 2 GB of RAM and a Quad-Core CPU, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has an extra graphics processing unit. Xperia Tablet Z counts with a much better screen than Galaxy Note 10.1, and although they both have a same size screen, the Xperia Tablet Z also has a way better pixel density and a way better 1200 x 1920 resolution.

If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most out of your savings.
