Comparison review
The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet has a general score of 74.7, which is much better than the Galaxy Note 10.1's 66.3 score. The Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet design is lighter and noticeably thinner than the Galaxy Note 10.1. Both tablets in this comparison work with Android OS, but the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet has a more recent 5.0 version and Galaxy Note 10.1 has Android 4.4, so it provides you a couple nice extra features and performance enhancements.
Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet has an incredibly better looking display than Galaxy Note 10.1, and although they both have a display with the same size, the Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet also has a way higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 pixels and a lot better count of pixels per inch in the display. The Xperia Z4 Tablet has a much better performing processing unit than Galaxy Note 10.1, because it has a larger number of cores (and faster), an extra graphics co-processor, 1 GB more RAM memory and a 64-bit processor.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 features a better memory to install applications and games than Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet, because although it has an external memory card slot that holds up to 32 GB against 128 GB, it also counts with 64 GB internal memory. The Xperia Z4 Tablet counts with a very superior camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, because it has a camera in the back with a much better resolution and a lot higher (Full HD) video resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 features greater battery performance than Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet, because it has 7000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet, else you can save a couple dollars and get the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, letting go some specifications.
