Comparison review

Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has an overall score of 63, which is a bit better than the Acer Predator 8's general score of 57.7. These devices include Android OS, but Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has the previous 4.4.2 version while Acer Predator 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop. Although it's the best tablet in our current comparison, we must note that it's also noticeably older, a bit thicker and much heavier.

The Acer Predator 8 counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE. They have 4 CPU cores and the same RAM memory amount. Acer Predator 8 counts with just a bit better screen than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a lot better pixels density and a much better 1200 x 1920 resolution.

Acer Predator 8 has a camera that is very similar to the camera in Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, both of them have a back-facing camera with a 5 megapixels resolution. The Acer Predator 8 has a much greater memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because it has more internal memory capacity and a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 128 GB.

Acer Predator 8 features a much better battery life than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Acer Predator 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Acer Predator 8. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get Acer Predator 8, and give up a couple features, but you will get the most with your budget.
