Comparison review

Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is just a bit better than the Asus MeMO Pad 8, having a global score of 63 against 61.2. Both tablets we are comparing here include Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a more recent 4.4.2 version while Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4. Even though Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a better tablet than Asus MeMO Pad 8, we must highlight that it is also older, somewhat thicker and a lot heavier.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a sharper screen than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a much better 1920 x 1200px resolution and a lot greater number of pixels per display inch. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 features just a bit better performance than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE. Both have a Quad-Core processor and the same RAM amount.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a lot bigger memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, and although they both have an external SD slot that supports up to 64 GB, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has 32 GB internal storage capacity. The Asus MeMO Pad 8's camera is very similar to the camera in Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, both of them have the same video frame rates, a same resolution back camera and the same video definition.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a battery life that's very similar to the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE one.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Asus MeMO Pad 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Asus MeMO Pad 8. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, but if you don't you can save some dollars and get the Asus MeMO Pad 8, giving up a couple specs and features.
