The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a global score of 63, which is a bit better than Huawei MediaPad M1's 61.5 global score. The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is better than the Huawei MediaPad M1, it must be told that it is also an older, a lot heavier and somewhat thicker device. Both tablets we compare here work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a more recent 4.4.2 version while Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2 version, so it offers some nice extra features and performance enhancements.

Huawei MediaPad M1 has a brighter display than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has a much smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1280 x 800, the Huawei MediaPad M1 also counts with more pixels per inch in the display. Huawei MediaPad M1 features a bit more powerful processor than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, although it has less RAM, they both have a Quad-Core processor.

Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE counts with a bit better camera than Huawei MediaPad M1. Both of them have a camera with a 5 mega pixels, the same video definition and the same video frame rate. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE counts with a much greater storage capacity to install applications and games than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB and 16 GB internal storage.

The Huawei MediaPad M1 features a very superior battery life than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Huawei MediaPad M1. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can buy the Huawei MediaPad M1, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
