The Microsoft Surface 3 has a global score of 66.3, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE's global score of 63. The Microsoft Surface 3 is a much newer and just a bit thinner tablet than the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, although it's also just a bit heavier. The Microsoft Surface 3 features a little more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because it has a higher number of pixels per screen inch, a much better resolution of 1920 x 1280px and a bit bigger display.

The Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a bit faster CPU than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, and although they both have 4 CPU cores, the Microsoft Surface 3 also has a greater amount of RAM. The Microsoft Surface 3 features much more memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has no slot for an SD memory card, it also counts with 112 GB more internal storage capacity.

Microsoft Surface 3 takes a little bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because it has a lot better 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and a way higher 8 MP resolution camera. Microsoft Surface 3 features a battery life that is very similar to the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE one.

In addition to being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, the Microsoft Surface 3 is also by far the cheapest.
