Comparison review

Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is slightly better than the Microsoft Surface RT, with a 63 score against 58.4. Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE comes with Android 4.4.2 OS, and Microsoft Surface RT counts with Windows RT OS. Even though Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE and Microsoft Surface RT were released only a couple of months apart, Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is somewhat lighter and just a little thinner.

The Microsoft Surface RT counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, and although they both have 4 processing cores and a 2 GB RAM memory, the Microsoft Surface RT also has an extra graphics co-processor. Microsoft Surface RT and Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE both feature incredibly similar screens, because although the Microsoft Surface RT has a just a bit less pixels per inch in the display, it also counts with a quite bigger display and a little higher resolution of 768 x 1366.

Microsoft Surface RT has a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 64 GB internal storage. Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE captures much clearer pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE also has a lot more mega pixels camera.

Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE and Microsoft Surface RT have similar batteries performance.

Although Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Microsoft Surface RT, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Microsoft Surface RT. So if you want that extra specs, you can buy the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, otherwise you can save some money and buy the Microsoft Surface RT, resigning a couple features and specs.
