The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has an overall score of 63, which is a little bit better than the Galaxy Tab A 9.7's global score of 60.5. Both of these tablets come with Android OS, but the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has the previous 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has Android 7.1 Nougat. Even though Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is better than the Galaxy Tab A 9.7, we must tell that it is also much older, heavier and somewhat thicker.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE features a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, because it has a just a little more pixels per inch in the display, a little bit bigger screen and a slightly higher 800 x 1280 pixels resolution. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE has a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and although they both have a Quad-Core CPU, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE also has a higher amount of RAM memory.
The Galaxy Tab A 9.7 counts with slightly more storage capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 also has an external SD slot that holds up to 128 GB. Galaxy Tab A 9.7 counts with a way better battery life than Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE.
The Galaxy Tab A 9.7's camera is just as good as the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE one, they have the same resolution camera, the same video frame rate and the same (HD) video resolution.
Although Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7. So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, else you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7, resigning some specifications.
