Comparison review
Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 is much better than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, having a global score of 78.2 against 67.9. Both tablets we compare here include the same Android 4.4 OS (operating system), so both should offer very similar OS features. The Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 construction is older, a little thicker and noticeably heavier than the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a bit better looking display than Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2, because although it has a lot smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1600 x 2560px, the Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 also counts with a higher pixel density. The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 features a very superior memory for apps and games than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 also has a SD card slot that supports up to 64 GB.
Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 has just a bit better processing power than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, and although they both have 4 cpu cores, the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 also has more RAM and a graphics processing unit. The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 features a very superior battery duration than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9.
The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 has just a bit better camera than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. Both have the same resolution camera, the same 1920x1080 video definition and the same video frame rates.
In addition to being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 is also very cheap compared to the other ones.
