Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) is just a bit better than Galaxy NotePRO 12.2, having an 82.4 score against 78.2. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) design is much newer, but just a little heavier and a little bit thicker than the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2. The Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) comes with Windows 10 Pro OS, and Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 works with Android 4.4 OS.

Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 features a sharper screen than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), although it has a bit lower 1600 x 2560 resolution, a bit lower screen pixel density and a little bit smaller screen. The Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 has just a bit better hardware performance than Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a higher number of cores (although they are slower) and an extra graphics processing unit.

Microsoft Surface Pro (2017) counts with much more memory capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. So if you need that extra features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro (2017), but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2, letting go a couple specs and features.
