Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a score of 79, which is a bit better than the Galaxy NotePRO 12.2's general score of 78.2. Both devices in this comparison include Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 has a more recent 10 version while Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 has Android 4.4, giving some extra features and performance tweaks. Although Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3 is much thicker than Galaxy NotePRO 12.2, it's incredibly lighter and noticeably newer.
Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 has a bit more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab Active 3, because although it has a little bit worse pixel quantity per display inch, it also counts with a better resolution of 1600 x 2560 and a much bigger display. The Galaxy Tab Active 3 counts with a bit faster processor than Galaxy NotePRO 12.2, because although it has doesn't have an additional GPU, it also counts with 1 GB more RAM and more cores.
The Galaxy Tab Active 3 shoots much better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2, because it has a much better 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a lot better resolution camera. Galaxy Tab Active 3 features a very superior storage for apps and games than Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory, the Galaxy Tab Active 3 also has a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 1 TB.
Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2 counts with a very superior battery performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 3, because it has an 88% bigger battery size.
Although Galaxy Tab Active 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2. If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy NotePRO 12.2, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
