Comparison review

Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 has a general score of 54.2, which is slightly better than Amazon Fire HD 8's 53.3 overall score. The Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 body is incredibly lighter than the Amazon Fire HD 8, but it is a lot thicker and was released 5 years before. Both devices we compare here have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 has the previous 2.3.5 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 has Android 5.0 version.

The Amazon Fire HD 8 has a little faster processing unit than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, and although they both have 1 CPU cores, the Amazon Fire HD 8 also has 512 MB more RAM. The Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 counts with a slightly better display than Amazon Fire HD 8, because although it has a really smaller screen and a much lower resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, it also counts with a just a bit higher pixels density.
