Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has a score of 68.5, which is way better than the Galaxy S WiFi 4.0's score of 54.2. Both tablets we compare here come with Android OS, but the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 has 4.2.2 version while Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 has Android 2.3.5 version. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9's design is noticeably newer and noticeably thinner than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0's, but it's also noticeably heavier.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 features a much more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, because it has an additional graphics processing unit, a greater number of cores and 1,5 GB more RAM.
