The Microsoft Surface 3 is much better than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, with a 66.3 score against 54.2. Microsoft Surface 3's construction is a lot newer and thinner than the Galaxy S WiFi 4.0's, although it's also noticeably heavier. The Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 counts with a little more vivid display than Microsoft Surface 3, because although it has a much smaller display and a way worse resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, it also counts with a little bit more pixels per inch in the display.

Microsoft Surface 3 features a greater performance than Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, because it has a higher number of cores (and they are faster) and a greater amount of RAM memory. The Microsoft Surface 3 has a superior camera than Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, because it has a back camera with a way higher 8 mega-pixels resolution.
