Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a general score of 65, which is much better than the Galaxy S WiFi 4.0's 54.2 score. Both of these tablets have Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has newer 4.1 version and Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 has Android 2.3.5, providing a couple additional features. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T)'s construction is newer and a little thinner than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0's, although it is incredibly heavier.

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a quite better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, because it has 1 more cores, more RAM memory and an additional GPU. The Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 counts with a slightly better looking screen than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has a lot worse 800 x 480px resolution and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a much better quantity of pixels per inch in the screen.

Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) feature quite similar cameras, although the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a lower resolution back camera. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is more expensive than Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, but you can get a better tablet for that few extra dollars.
