The Galaxy Tab A (2016) is much better than the Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, having a 60.4 score against 54.2. Both tablets in this review have Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab A (2016) has 5.1 Lollipop version and Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 has Android 2.3.5, counting with a couple nice extra features. The Galaxy Tab A (2016) design is incredibly newer and somewhat thinner, but also incredibly heavier than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0.

The Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 has a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016), because although it has a way smaller display and a way lower resolution of 800 x 480px, it also counts with a little bit greater pixel density. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2016) has slightly more storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with an external memory slot that holds up to 200 GB.
