Comparison review

Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is better than the Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, having a 64.9 score against 54.2. Even though Galaxy Tab E 8.0 is noticeably heavier than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, it's thinner and way newer. Both tablets in this review come with Android operating system, but the Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has 5.1 Lollipop version and Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 has Android 2.3.5 version.

The Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 features a much better looking display than Galaxy Tab E 8.0, because although it has a much smaller display and a much lower resolution of 800 x 480, it also counts with a just a bit greater display density. The Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 counts with a bigger memory for games and applications than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 also has a slot for an SD memory card that holds up to 128 GB.

The Galaxy Tab E 8.0 counts with a bit better CPU than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, because it has a higher number of cores and a greater amount of RAM. Galaxy Tab E 8.0 counts with a much better camera than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, because it has a way better 5 megapixels resolution back-facing camera. Samsung Galaxy Tab E 8.0 has a really longer battery performance than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity against 1200mAh.
