The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has an overall score of 58, which is a bit better than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0's score of 53.2. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 construction is newer and somewhat thinner, but way heavier than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0. Both tablets we are comparing here use Android operating system, but the Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a newer 4.2.2 version while Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 has Android 2.3.5.

Amazon Kindle Fire HDX 7 has a much powerful processing unit than Galaxy S WiFi 4.0, because it has an additional graphics processor, a greater number of cores and a higher amount of RAM.
