Comparison review

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is just a bit better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), with a global score of 62.5 against 59.7. These tablets use Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has an older 3.1 version while Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie version. Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE's construction is noticeably heavier but thinner than the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).

Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features a more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a higher amount of RAM memory and more processing cores. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE features a bit better looking screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), because although it has a just a bit inferior pixels amount in each inch of display, and they both have an equal resolution of 800 x 1280, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE also counts with a bigger screen.

Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) features much more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020) also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1000 GB. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE features a much better battery lifetime than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020).

Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has a little bit better camera than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1280x720 (HD) video resolution, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE also has a way higher 3 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020). So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Amazon Fire HD 8 Plus (2020), giving up a couple features and specifications.
