Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is just a bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, with a 67.9 score against 62.5. These tablets have Android OS, but Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a newer 4.4 version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has Android 3.1, giving you a lot of extra features. Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 is a incredibly lighter and thinner tablet device than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE.
The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a lot better screen than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a much higher resolution of 1600 x 2560 and a much greater display pixels density. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a quite better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a larger amount of RAM and 2 more processing cores.
Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 has a very superior storage to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has more internal storage capacity. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has a really longer battery duration than Amazon Fire HDX 8.9. The Amazon Fire HDX 8.9 features a way better camera than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a way more megapixels back-facing camera and a much better (Full HD) video definition.
