Comparison review

Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has an overall score of 62.5, which is just a bit better than Asus MeMO Pad 8's global score of 61.2. Despite being the best tablet we are comparing here, Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE's construction is thicker and incredibly heavier than Asus MeMO Pad 8. Both of these tablets come with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has the older 3.1 version while Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4 version.

Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a quite superior performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a higher number of faster cores and a larger amount of RAM memory. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because although it has a much smaller display, it also counts with a way better pixels number per screen inch and a much better resolution of 1920 x 1200px.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a much bigger memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have the same internal storage capacity, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has an external memory slot that holds up to 64 GB. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has a much longer battery life than Asus MeMO Pad 8.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 captures just a bit better videos and photos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have the same 1280x720 video definition and the same video frame rates, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has a way better resolution camera.

Although Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Asus MeMO Pad 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Asus MeMO Pad 8. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, else you can save some money and get the Asus MeMO Pad 8, resigning some features and specs.
