The Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is just a bit better than the Huawei MediaPad M1, getting a 62.5 score against 61.5. Both of these devices come with Android OS, but Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has an older 3.1 version and Huawei MediaPad M1 has Android 4.2.2 version. Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE's construction is noticeably heavier and a little bit thicker than Huawei MediaPad M1.
The Huawei MediaPad M1 features a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because although it has a really smaller display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 1280 x 800, the Huawei MediaPad M1 also counts with a greater screen pixel density. The Huawei MediaPad M1 has a little better performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have a 1 GB RAM, the Huawei MediaPad M1 also has a larger number of cores.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has much more memory capacity to install applications and games than Huawei MediaPad M1, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with 32 GB internal memory. The Huawei MediaPad M1 captures a bit better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a camera in the back with way more mega-pixels and a way better 1920x1080 video resolution.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE counts with a way better battery life than Huawei MediaPad M1, because it has a 42% bigger battery capacity.
Although Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Huawei MediaPad M1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei MediaPad M1. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Huawei MediaPad M1, and give up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
