The Microsoft Surface 3 has an overall score of 66.3, which is just a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE's overall score of 62.5. The Microsoft Surface 3 design has the same thickness than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, but it is a bit heavier. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE counts with a little sharper screen than Microsoft Surface 3, although it has a much worse pixels count per inch in the display, a way lower resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels and a quite smaller screen.
Microsoft Surface 3 features a very superior memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has more internal memory. The Microsoft Surface 3 counts with a superior CPU than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has more RAM and a higher number of cores.
