Samsung Ativ Tab has an overall score of 66.7, which is a little bit better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE's 62.5 general score. Samsung Ativ Tab has Windows RT operating system, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has Android 3.1 operating system. Samsung Ativ Tab is a a little lighter but a little bit thicker portable tablet than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE.
The Samsung Ativ Tab has a quite superior performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have 2 CPU cores, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has an extra graphics processing unit and a larger amount of RAM. Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE features a little more vivid screen than Samsung Ativ Tab, although it has a little bit lower display pixel density and a quite lower 800 x 1280 resolution, they both have a screen of the same size.
Samsung Ativ Tab features much more storage capacity to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB and 64 GB internal storage capacity. Samsung Ativ Tab has better battery performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has 8200mAh of battery capacity.
The Samsung Ativ Tab features just a bit better camera than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 1280x720 video quality, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a much higher resolution back facing camera.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Samsung Ativ Tab, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, giving up a couple features and specifications.
