Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has an overall score of 62.8, which is a bit better than the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE's 62.5 score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is a somewhat thinner and incredibly lighter tablet than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE. Both tablets in this review work with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has the newer 7.1 Nougat version while Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has Android 3.1.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features a bit more powerful processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a higher number of cores and 512 MB more RAM memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE counts with a much better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a just a bit worse pixel density, it also counts with a bigger screen and a bit higher 800 x 1280 resolution.

The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have the same (HD) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 also has a back-facing camera with a way better 5 mega pixels resolution. Galaxy Tab A 8.0 features more memory for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because although it has 0 less internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 128 GB.

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has a much better battery life than Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity.

Despite of being the best tablet of the ones we are comparing here, Galaxy Tab A 8.0 is also a bargain compared to others.
