The Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a score of 70, which is much better than the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE's 62.5 general score. The Galaxy Tab Active 2 design is extremely lighter but somewhat thicker than the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (operating system), but Galaxy Tab Active 2 has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has Android 3.1 version, so it offers a lot of extra features.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has a quite worse pixels count per inch of screen, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE also counts with a bigger display. The Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has more RAM memory and more CPU cores.
The Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with a greater camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a lot better 1920x1080 video resolution and a lot better 8 MP resolution back-facing camera. Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with much more memory to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because although it has only 16 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 256 GB.
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has a very superior battery lifetime than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because it has a 53% more battery size.
Although Galaxy Tab Active 2 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, letting go some specs and features, but you will get the most out of your money.
