The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a general score of 74.5, which is better than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE's 62.5 score. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is a incredibly thinner and way lighter tablet than the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE. Both tablets in this review include Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has the newer 4.4.2 version and Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has Android 3.1 version.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has an incredibly better display than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher pixels density and a lot better 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a much better memory capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 also has an external memory card slot that supports up to 128 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a faster CPU than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a larger amount of RAM and a greater number of faster cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a very superior camera than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a lot better 8 megapixels resolution back facing camera and a way higher 1920x1080 (Full HD) video quality.

Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE features a much longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a 6800mAh battery capacity.
