Comparison review

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has an overall score of 62.5, which is just a bit better than Sony Xperia Tablet S's 58.9 general score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE body is just a bit heavier but way thinner than the Sony Xperia Tablet S. Both of these tablets use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE has an older 3.1 version while Sony Xperia Tablet S has Android 4.1.1.

The Xperia Tablet S has a better processor than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Xperia Tablet S also has a greater number of cores (and they are faster) and a graphics processing unit. Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE features a little more vivid screen than Xperia Tablet S, because although it has a little bit less pixels per inch in the screen, and they both have the same resolution of 800 x 1280px, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE also counts with a bit larger display.

Xperia Tablet S has just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has a much higher resolution camera. The Xperia Tablet S features a much greater memory capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE, because it has more internal storage capacity and an external memory slot that allows up to 128 GB.

The Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE counts with a really longer battery life than Xperia Tablet S.

Despite of being the best tablet in this comparison, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 LTE is also a bit cheaper, making it a very good choice.
