Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has an overall score of 58.1, which is just a bit better than the Acer Predator 8's 57.7 overall score. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 design has the same thickness than Acer Predator 8, but it is extremely heavier. These tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has the previous 4.0.4 version while Acer Predator 8 has Android 5.1 Lollipop version.
Acer Predator 8 features a slightly better display than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a really smaller display, it also counts with a way higher screen density and a way better 1200 x 1920 resolution. Acer Predator 8 has a much greater memory capacity for apps and games than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal storage capacity, the Acer Predator 8 also has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 128 GB.
The Acer Predator 8 counts with a superior hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has 2 more processing cores. Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a much longer battery life than Acer Predator 8, because it has a 6800mAh battery size against 4420mAh. Galaxy Tab 10.1 features just a bit better camera than Acer Predator 8, although it has a much lower resolution back facing camera.
Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a better device, it costs more money than the Acer Predator 8, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Acer Predator 8. So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Acer Predator 8, giving up some specs and features.
