The Alcatel JOY TAB has a general score of 59.4, which is a bit better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1's 58.1 global score. Alcatel JOY TAB is a incredibly lighter tablet than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, but both of them are equally thin. Both tablets in this comparison review come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Alcatel JOY TAB has 9.0 Pie version while Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4 version, so it gives a couple additional features.

Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a bit more vivid screen than Alcatel JOY TAB, because although it has a just a bit inferior pixel number per inch of display, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 also counts with a bigger screen. Alcatel JOY TAB counts with a much greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have equal internal storage, the Alcatel JOY TAB also has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 128 GB.

The Alcatel JOY TAB counts with a superior processing unit than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has more cpu cores. Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a much longer battery life than Alcatel JOY TAB, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity instead of 4080mAh. The Alcatel JOY TAB takes just a bit better videos and photos than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have the same 1280x720 (HD) video quality, the Alcatel JOY TAB also has faster 30 frames per second video frame rate and a back camera with lot more mega-pixels.
