The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a score of 58.6, which is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab 10.1's global score of 58.1. Both of these tablets have Android OS (operating system), but the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has the newer 9.0 Pie version while Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4, so it offers some additional features. Although Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) is thicker than the Galaxy Tab 10.1, it's way lighter and incredibly newer.
The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a more powerful CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has more cpu cores. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a bit sharper screen than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), because although it has a just a little less pixels per inch of screen, and they both have exactly the same 800 x 1280 resolution, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 also counts with a larger screen.

Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features a lot bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) also has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1000 GB.
