The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a general score of 65.1, which is much better than Galaxy Tab 10.1's score of 58.1. Even though Microsoft Surface Pro 2 is noticeably newer than the Galaxy Tab 10.1, it's extremely heavier and much thicker. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 works with Windows 8.1 Pro OS, and Galaxy Tab 10.1 comes with Android 4.0.4 OS.
The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 features a slightly better display than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a bit larger screen, a way higher resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a higher pixel count in each inch in the display. The Microsoft Surface Pro 2 has a very superior storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has 480 GB more internal storage capacity.
