Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is much better than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, getting a global score of 72.2 against 58.1. Even though the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a lot newer than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, it's heavier and a little bit thicker. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 comes with Windows 8.1 Pro OS, while Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 comes with Android 4.0.4 OS.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a better performing CPU than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1. Both have a Dual-Core CPU. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a bit more vivid screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a better quantity of pixels per display inch, a bigger screen and a way higher resolution of 1440 x 2160.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a very superior storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has 480 GB more internal storage capacity.
