Comparison review

The Microsoft Surface RT is slightly better than Galaxy Tab 10.1, getting a 58.4 score against 58.1. The Microsoft Surface RT works with Windows RT operating system, while Galaxy Tab 10.1 comes with Android 4.0.4 operating system. Microsoft Surface RT is a newer tablet device than Galaxy Tab 10.1, although it is a little bit thicker and heavier.

Microsoft Surface RT features a quite better performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has an additional graphics co-processor and 2 more cpu cores. Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a little sharper display than Microsoft Surface RT, because although it has a little smaller screen and a little bit lower 800 x 1280px resolution, it also counts with a quite higher screen pixels density.

The Microsoft Surface RT has a much greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has more internal memory. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 features a much better battery lifetime than Microsoft Surface RT. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 shoots much better photos and videos than Microsoft Surface RT, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video resolution and the same video frame rates, the Galaxy Tab 10.1 also has a back-facing camera with a way better 3 mega pixels resolution.
