Samsung Ativ Tab has a global score of 66.7, which is much better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1's general score of 58.1. The Samsung Ativ Tab comes with Windows RT OS, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 comes with Android 4.0.4 OS. Even though Samsung Ativ Tab is newer than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, it's just a little thicker and a bit heavier.
The Samsung Ativ Tab features a quite superior processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have a Dual-Core processor, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has an extra graphics processor. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a slightly better display than Samsung Ativ Tab, although it has a quite lower 800 x 1280 resolution and a little inferior count of pixels per display inch, they both have a display of the same size.
Galaxy Tab 10.1 has just a bit better camera than Samsung Ativ Tab, because although it has a back camera with a much lower resolution, it also counts with a lot better (Full HD) video resolution. The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a superior memory to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has more internal memory capacity and a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 64 GB.
The Samsung Ativ Tab counts with longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has 8200mAh of battery capacity instead of 6800mAh.
Samsung Ativ Tab is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Tab 10.1, but it's still a convenient choice, as you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
