Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a bit better than GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, having a global score of 58.1 against 57.5. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a older and notably heavier portable tablet than the GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, but Samsung made it somewhat thinner anyway. Both devices we compare here include Android OS (operating system), but Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has an older 4.0.4 version while GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has Android 4.1 version.
The GALAXY Tab 3 Kids has a little bit better screen than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a much smaller display and a much lower 600 x 1024 resolution, it also counts with a bit more pixels per inch of display. GALAXY Tab 3 Kids features a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 10.1. They have 2 cores.

If you want to save some dollars, you can buy GALAXY Tab 3 Kids, giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
