The Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a score of 62.8, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Tab 10.1's 58.1 global score. Galaxy Tab A 8.0's design is newer, incredibly lighter and thinner than Galaxy Tab 10.1. Both of these tablets come with Android OS, but the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has the newer 7.1 Nougat version and Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0, because although it has a just a bit inferior count of pixels per inch of screen, it also counts with a slightly higher resolution of 800 x 1280px and a bigger screen. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 has a greater storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has less internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 128 GB.
