Galaxy Tab Active 2 is way better than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, getting a 70 score against 58.1. Both of these tablets include Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab Active 2 has newer 9.0 Pie version and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4. The Galaxy Tab Active 2 construction is much newer and extremely lighter than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1's, but it is also somewhat thicker.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 has a superior processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a higher number of cores. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a little more vivid display than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because although it has a just a little inferior count of pixels per inch of display, and they both have the same exact resolution of 800 x 1280, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 also counts with a bigger display.
The Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has less internal storage capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that supports a maximum of 256 GB. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a much better battery performance than Galaxy Tab Active 2, because it has a 53% bigger battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 counts with a better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 2 also has higher video frame rates and a way more megapixels camera in the back.
Galaxy Tab Active 2 costs more than the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a lot more for that extra money.
