Galaxy Tab Active is better than Galaxy Tab 10.1, having a 67 score against 58.1. Both tablets we compare here come with Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab Active has 4.4 version and Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4, offering lots of additional features. Although the Galaxy Tab Active is somewhat thicker than Galaxy Tab 10.1, it's noticeably lighter and also way newer.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active has a little more vivid screen than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has a really smaller display, and they both have the same resolution of 1280 x 800, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active also counts with more pixels per inch in the screen. Galaxy Tab Active has a better processor than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has an extra graphics co-processor and more CPU cores.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab Active features a slightly bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because although it has only 16 GB internal memory, it also counts with an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 64 GB.
