Sony Xperia Tablet Z is much better than the Galaxy Tab 10.1, with a 68.5 score against 58.1. The Sony Xperia Tablet Z construction is newer, incredibly thinner and somewhat lighter than Galaxy Tab 10.1. Both of these devices use Android OS (operating system), but the Sony Xperia Tablet Z has the newer 4.4.4 version while Galaxy Tab 10.1 has Android 4.0.4.
Xperia Tablet Z has a better performance than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a greater number of faster cores and an extra graphics processor. Xperia Tablet Z has a better display than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the Xperia Tablet Z also has a way better 1200 x 1920 resolution and a lot better display density.
The Sony Xperia Tablet Z takes slightly better photographs and videos than Galaxy Tab 10.1, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video definition, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has a camera with lot more MP.
