Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab 10.1 has a score of 58.1, which is slightly better than Xiaomi pad 5's 57.7 overall score. Although the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a better tablet than the Xiaomi pad 5, it must be told that it is also way older, thicker and just a bit heavier. Both tablets we compare here use Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab 10.1 has newer 4.0.4 version while Xiaomi pad 5 has Android 12, so it offers a lot of extra features and better performance.
Galaxy Tab 10.1 counts with a much powerful processor than Xiaomi pad 5, although it has lesser CPU cores. Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has just a bit better screen than Xiaomi pad 5, although it has a way lower resolution of 800 x 1280, a little smaller display and way lesser pixels per screen inch. Xiaomi pad 5 has a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has 128 GB internal storage capacity.
The Xiaomi pad 5 shoots a lot better pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has a way better (4K) video definition and a much better 13 MP resolution camera. Xiaomi pad 5 has greater battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, because it has 8720mAh of battery capacity.
