Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is much better than the Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi, having a 74.5 score against 56.7. Galaxy Tab A 10.5's construction is a little lighter and just a little thinner than Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi. Both tablets in this review use Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has 9.0 Pie version and Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi has Android 4.0.4 version.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi features just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Tab A 10.5, although it has way less pixels per display inch, a lot lower 800 x 1280 resolution and a little bit smaller display. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a better processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi, because it has more processing cores.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 features a lot bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi, and although they both have the same 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 also has an external SD slot that holds a maximum of 400 GB.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 has a lot better camera than Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 also has better video frame rates and a camera in the back with way more MP. Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi, but you can get a much better tablet for that extra money.
