The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a global score of 74.5, which is a lot better than Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi's overall score of 56.7. Both tablets in this comparison review have Android OS (operating system), but the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has the newer 4.4.2 version while Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi has Android 4.0.4, so it counts with a couple additional features and some performance improvements. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 construction is noticeably thinner and notably lighter than Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a much more vibrant screen than Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher 2560 x 1600 resolution and a way greater pixel quantity per inch in the display. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 features a superior storage capacity for applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi, and although they both have equal 32 GB internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 also has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 128 GB.
Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a better processing power than Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi, because it has a larger number of cores (and they are faster). The Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi counts with a much longer battery life than Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4, because it has a 6800mAh battery size. The Galaxy Tab S 8.4 has a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi, and although they both have the same 1920x1080 video quality, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 also has a back camera with much more mega-pixels and faster video frame rate.
In addition to being the best tablet in our comparison, the Galaxy Tab S 8.4 is also by far the cheapest one, making it an obvious call.
