Sony Xperia Tablet Z is a lot better than Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi, having a 68.5 score against 56.7. Sony Xperia Tablet Z's body is somewhat lighter and incredibly thinner than the Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi. These tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but the Sony Xperia Tablet Z has newer 4.4.4 version and Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi has Android 4.0.4, providing the user a couple additional features.

The Xperia Tablet Z has a better processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi, because it has a graphics co-processor and more processing cores. Sony Xperia Tablet Z counts with a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi, and although they both have a display of the same size, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has a way higher resolution of 1200 x 1920 and a lot better pixel density.

Sony Xperia Tablet Z takes clearer pictures and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 video resolution, the Sony Xperia Tablet Z also has a back camera with much more mega-pixels. The Xperia Tablet Z has a way bigger memory to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi, and although they both have exactly the same 32 GB internal storage, the Xperia Tablet Z also has a SD card slot that supports up to 64 GB.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi counts with a bit better battery duration than Sony Xperia Tablet Z, because it has 6800mAh of battery capacity.

Xperia Tablet Z is a lot more expensive than Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wi-Fi, but you can get a much better tablet for that few more dollars.
