The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is much better than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), having a score of 65 against 58.6. The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) construction has the same thickness than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), but it is extremely heavier. These devices work with Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has the previous 4.1 version and Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) features a bit better processor than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has doesn't have a graphics co-processor, it also counts with a larger number of cores (and they are faster) and more RAM. The Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020) has a way bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has more internal memory and a SD extension slot that supports a maximum of 1000 GB.
The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with a really longer battery duration than Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020).
Although Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020). So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Amazon Fire HD 8 (2020), resigning a couple specifications.
