Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is just a bit better than Asus MeMO Pad 8, having a global score of 65 against 61.2. Both tablets in this comparison come with Android OS, but Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has older 4.1 version while Asus MeMO Pad 8 has Android 4.4 version. Even being the best in our current comparison, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) construction is older, notably heavier and thicker than Asus MeMO Pad 8.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 has a better screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has a much smaller screen, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels and a lot higher display pixels density. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 counts with a little faster processor than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has doesn't have a graphics processing unit, it also counts with more cores and more RAM memory.

The Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a much greater storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has 32 GB internal storage and a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB. The Asus MeMO Pad 8 features a much better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same (HD) video quality and the same video frame rate, the Asus MeMO Pad 8 also has a way more megapixels back-facing camera.

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a much longer battery duration than Asus MeMO Pad 8.

Although Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a better device, it costs a lot more than Asus MeMO Pad 8, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Asus MeMO Pad 8. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Asus MeMO Pad 8, and give up a few features and specifications, but you will get the most out of your money.
