Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is a little bit better than the Microsoft Surface Pro, getting a 65 score against 63.2. Although the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) and Microsoft Surface Pro were only released 3 months apart, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is thinner and much lighter. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) comes with Android 4.1 OS, while Microsoft Surface Pro comes with Windows 8 Pro OS.

Microsoft Surface Pro features just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro also has a larger amount of RAM memory and a much better 650 megahertz graphics co-processor. The Microsoft Surface Pro has a little bit better looking display than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has a quite larger display, a better number of pixels per inch in the screen and a way higher 1080 x 1920 resolution.

Microsoft Surface Pro has a much bigger memory to store more games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 128 GB internal memory. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a much longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro.

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) takes slightly better pictures and videos than Microsoft Surface Pro, because it has a much better 1920x1080 video resolution and a lot better 3 megapixels resolution back-facing camera.

Despite of being the best tablet in this comparison, Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) is also by far the cheapest one.
