Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is much better than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), having a 72.2 score against 65. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 comes with Windows 8.1 Pro operating system, and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has Android 4.1 operating system. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a newer and a bit thinner tablet device than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), although it's noticeably heavier.

Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a bit superior processing unit than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has doesn't have an additional graphics co-processor, and they both have the same number of cores, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 also counts with a higher amount of RAM. The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 has a little sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has a lot higher resolution of 1440 x 2160px, more pixels per display inch and a larger display.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a superior memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Microsoft Surface Pro 3 counts with a better camera than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Microsoft Surface Pro 3 also has a way more mega-pixels camera in the back.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) features a much longer battery performance than Microsoft Surface Pro 3.

Although Microsoft Surface Pro 3 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T). So if you want that extra features, you can buy the Microsoft Surface Pro 3, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), resigning some features and specifications.
