Comparison review
The Samsung Ativ Tab is slightly better than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), having a global score of 66.7 against 65. The Samsung Ativ Tab body is a bit thinner and a bit lighter than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), even though both were released only 1 months apart. The Samsung Ativ Tab comes with Windows RT operating system, and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has Android 4.1 operating system.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a slightly better display than Samsung Ativ Tab, although it has a just a little less pixels per display inch and a bit worse resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels, they both have a same size display. Samsung Ativ Tab counts with a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have a 400 megahertz graphics co-processor and the same number of cores, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a larger amount of RAM.
The Samsung Ativ Tab takes much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have the same video quality and the same video frame rates, the Samsung Ativ Tab also has a back facing camera with much more megapixels. The Samsung Ativ Tab has a superior memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has more internal storage and an external memory slot that supports a maximum of 64 GB.
The Samsung Ativ Tab features a little longer battery duration than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), because it has 8200mAh of battery capacity.
Although Samsung Ativ Tab is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T). So if you need that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Ativ Tab, else you can save some money and buy the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), letting go some features and specifications.
