Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is slightly better than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), getting a global score of 66.3 against 65. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 design is just a little heavier but just a bit thinner than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and both were released with only a couple of months difference. Both devices in this comparison come with Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has newer 4.4 version and Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has Android 4.1 version, so it provides you some extra features and a performance increase.

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) counts with just a little better processing power than Galaxy Note 10.1, because although it has 2 lesser cores (but faster) and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with an additional graphics processing unit. Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) has a bit sharper screen than Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. Both have a screen of the same size, the same exact 800 x 1280 resolution and the same pixel density.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has a way bigger memory for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and although they both have a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 32 GB, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 also has 64 GB internal storage capacity. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1's battery lifetime is very similar to Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T)'s battery performance.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T) count with really similar cameras, and although the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has a much better resolution camera in the back, they both have the same video frame rates and the same (HD) video resolution.

Although Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T). If you want to save some dollars, you can get Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 (AT&T), giving up a few features and specs, but you'll get the most out of your budget.
